Environment Concepts #2

This image is a concept for the setting of my story and game, and is a simple noir cityscape with only one other colour being red. I made this image using Photoshop. I first used the pen tool to map out where I wanted to place each building. I then filled each shape with different shades of grey, having the main light source in the centre, on the road and cars.
Even though the buildings are only simple shapes, I think that the image is still successful and looks like a busy city at night. I might edit this image further and add more details to the smaller buildings, such as signs and windows.
**edited** I added and changed a couple of things from the originally image I did. I added details to the buildings, such as signs and windows. I place neon signs to the buildings to add more character to the city and make it seem more like a busy city alive with activity.
I removed the colour from the car headlights on the road. I did this because I felt that the red light from the car lights was overpowering the colours of the signs I had added, making them unnoticeable.
I also added small red lights to the taller buildings as a small detail similar to real life, again making to seem more like a real city.
**edited** In this final edit I added a reflection of the main protagonist, that I have also been developing in my work.
I think that I will make this a scene where it pans from a clear shot of the city to the reflection of the protagonist in the window, looking over the city.
